Stealth “SwiftVault” Biometric Gun Safe Opened With Wire

What I have for you today is a stealth brand swift vault 2.0 biometric handgun safe. This California approved product retails on amazon for 170 and features three opening methods. First, we have a user defined code. Next, we have a fingerprint sensor and finally, on the front, we have an inner groove key backup cylinder, and this cylinder is something that would require at least some specialized skills to open.

So I thought my time might be better spent making sure there were no significant build errors, and I saw something in the amazon listing that really piqued. My interest, it says quote: new advanced security features include no exposed holes.

Now I was completely unaware that the absence of holes in a safe was either a new or advanced security feature, but it got the lawyer in me thinking if there aren’t any quote exposed holes well how about unexposed holes – and that seems to be the problem with This product, let me show you what I mean i’m going to take my covert instruments, pry bar and remove this trim panel, and you can see we have a few holes here.

I’m going to take this piece of bent music wire and fish it through one of those holes to see if we can catch the mechanism – and you can see just that quickly – we got it open. Let’S do that one more time, okay, folks, while this may seem like an odd or unusual attack, I think it is in the wheelhouse of a curious adolescent and given how easy it would be to shield that mechanism, it really should never happen.

In any case, that’s all I have for you today if you do have any questions or comments about this, please put them below if you like this video and would like to see more like it please subscribe and as always have a nice day. Thank you.
