The WORLD CHAMPION Of Card Magic! FISM 2022

Yo, what’s up and welcome back, I just spent a week in Spain with some of the most incredible magicians on the planet, but today I really wanted to do this before I started editing all that footage. A friend of mine, Mark Kobe, from France, recently won the world championship of close-up magic at fism, which is like the international magic tournament. He generously put his video up online. Somebody mentioned that I met mark kobe at like four in the morning at the bar at the convention, and he called me over and he just starts doing stuff like this to me, and I thought at the time that he was completely obliterated like I thought he Was drunk and tired, I was drunk and tired and he just in this chaotic manner, you know half drunken just cards all over the place. Flipped up there. There was no apparent technique to what he was doing and I think that’s what makes it so fooling is that you forget about technique when he, when he isn’t demonstrating again right. So his whole purpose is not to demonstrate technique and therefore you let your guard down immediately you’re, like I’m, not looking for anything fishy, because everything fishy he does is like a joke. It’s like a fake palm or something and his pattern is so great.

Just being the guy who’s, like not sure of himself he’s kind of late, he doesn’t give a crap about the audience and he just wants to get these tricks over with is so brilliant um.
