Fill every cell with a circle ● or a square □. Tap a cell to cycle empty → circle → square → empty. No more than two of the same symbol side by side in any row or column; every row and column holds the same number of each; and no two rows (or two columns) are identical. Cells with a lock are given and can’t change. Check counts a mistake if any of your cells is wrong.

What counts as a mistake?
Only Check presses that find a wrong cell count. Nothing is marked while you play, so you can think freely. Gold is no mistakes, silver is two or fewer.
Is today's puzzle the same for everyone?
Yes. Binary Balance is generated from the calendar date (US Eastern), so everyone gets the same grid, and each one can be solved by logic alone without guessing. It is 6×6 on Monday to Wednesday and 8×8 from Thursday to Sunday. Open a past day with ?d=YYYY-MM-DD.
